Free cancellation up to 48 hours before arrival. Cancellations within 48 hours of arrival are charged one night. Cancellations on the day of arrival or no-shows are charged the full first night. We waive penalties for documented veterinary or travel emergencies — contact us directly.

We accept Visa, Mastercard, American Express, Maestro, and cash in euros. A valid credit card is required at check-in to authorize incidentals, even on pre-paid stays. We do not accept cryptocurrency or personal cheques.

No. We charge zero pet deposits and zero per-pet fees. Guests remain financially responsible for any pet-caused damage; we assess at check-out and bill against the card on file. Most stays incur no charges.

Yes. We host breed meet-ups, agility teams, and rescue transport groups. Group rates are available for 5+ rooms, and we can arrange private rooftop park sessions, group tours, and welcome briefings. Email wouf@hotel-perro-barcelona.com with dates and group size.

Book at least 2–3 weeks ahead in low season and 6–8 weeks ahead in summer or during major events (Mobile World Congress, Sónar, ISE). Family Pack Rooms and Big Dog Suites sell out first; reserve those earlier.

All 22 rooms welcome dogs. Pack Rooms (22 m², from €140) suit one dog with one or two guests. Big Dog Suites (32 m², from €200) are sized for large breeds. Family Pack Rooms (42 m², from €280) accommodate up to 4 guests and multiple dogs.

Rooms range from 22 m² (Pack Room) to 42 m² (Family Pack Room). Big Dog Suites are 32 m² with high ceilings and reinforced flooring sized for large and giant breeds. Floor plans are available on request.

Pack Rooms have a double bed plus a dog bed. Big Dog Suites have a king bed plus a large dog bed. Family Pack Rooms have a king bed, a sofa bed, and multiple dog beds. Waterproof mattress protectors are available on request.

Every room includes free WiFi, air conditioning, flat-screen TV, mini-fridge, private bathroom, and the Dog Welcome Pack: bed, food and water bowls, treats, toys, waste bags, and a Gothic Quarter walking map. Daily housekeeping is included.

Yes. We have two pairs of connecting rooms suitable for multi-room families and dog-traveling groups. Connecting rooms get priority access to rooftop park session blocks. Mention “connecting rooms” when booking to confirm availability.

Upper-floor rooms face Gothic Quarter streets; lower-floor rooms face an internal courtyard, which is quieter and better for noise-sensitive dogs. Specify your preference at booking; we honor requests subject to availability.

Check-in begins at 14:00. Earlier arrivals can store luggage and use the rooftop dog park while we prepare the room. Late check-ins are fine — front desk is staffed 24/7. No additional fee for early luggage drop or late check-in.

Check-out is 11:00. Complimentary late check-out until 13:00 is offered subject to availability — request at the front desk on the day. Luggage storage and rooftop park access remain available after check-out at no charge.

Early check-in is available subject to availability, often from 12:00. There is no surcharge for early check-in when a room is ready. If your room is not ready, we offer immediate luggage storage and rooftop park access.

Yes — complimentary, before check-in and after check-out. Storage is secure and supervised. Your dog can continue using the rooftop park and lobby water stations while bags are stored.

Every stay includes 24/7 access to the rooftop dog park and the Dog Welcome Pack. Optional paid experiences include guided dog-friendly tours, dog spa services (from €25), and on-call veterinary consultations. Book at the front desk.

The rooftop dog park is open 24/7 to hotel guests. Peak social hours are 08:00–10:00 and 18:00–20:00. Off-peak (06:00–08:00 and after 22:00) is best for nervous, reactive, or senior dogs who prefer fewer companions.

Yes. Guided dog-friendly walking tours of the Gothic Quarter run daily at 10:00 and 16:00, last about 2 hours, and are capped at 6 dogs to keep the pace manageable. Reserve at check-in or by emailing reservations.

Rooftop park and Dog Welcome Pack are exclusive to hotel guests. Non-guests can book guided tours and spa services in advance, subject to availability. The on-call veterinary service is for hotel guests only.

No. We have no breed restrictions and no weight limits. We welcome Great Danes, Mastiffs, Saint Bernards, Pit Bulls, Rottweilers — every breed. Note: Spanish national law (PPP) applies to certain breeds in public spaces; tourists must still muzzle and leash listed breeds outside the hotel.

Liceu (L3) is the nearest metro, 4 minutes on foot. Jaume I (L4) is 6 minutes. Plaça Catalunya (L1, L3, FGC, Renfe) is 10 minutes and connects to the airport via Aerobús.

We arrange pet-friendly airport transfers on request, with vehicles equipped for dogs of any size. From Barcelona-El Prat (BCN) the transfer is approximately 25 minutes. Reserve at least 24 hours in advance.

We have no on-site parking — the Gothic Quarter is largely pedestrianized. Public parking garages within 200 metres include SABA BAMSA Catedral and Parking Plaça Reial. Reserve in advance, especially in summer.

Barceloneta's dog-friendly section is 15 minutes by metro (L4 from Jaume I) or 20 minutes by taxi. Off-leash beaches at Llevant and Costa Brava are 35–60 minutes away. The front desk has up-to-date seasonal access maps.

Yes. The Gothic Quarter is well-lit and patrolled, with steady foot traffic until late. Avoid the south-west corner near Plaça Reial after 02:00. Recommended evening routes are pinned in the Dog Welcome Pack map.

We specialize in dogs. Well-socialized cats and other small pets are considered case-by-case — email wouf@hotel-perro-barcelona.com before booking. We are not equipped for exotic species or unsocialized animals.

Yes. The hotel is 100% smoke-free indoors, including all guest rooms, the rooftop dog park, and the lobby. Designated smoking is permitted on the street directly outside the entrance.

Yes. Children of all ages are welcome and stay free in Family Pack Rooms. The rooftop dog park has a parent-supervised perimeter for children. Cribs are available on request at no charge.

Yes. The lobby, elevator, rooftop park, and two ground-floor rooms are wheelchair accessible. Service dogs and emotional support animals are welcomed under the same no-fee policy as pet dogs. Notify us of mobility needs at booking.

Front desk speaks English, Spanish, and Catalan fluently. French and German are available during peak season. Italian and Portuguese can usually be arranged on request.

Yes — no per-pet fees and no cap on dogs per room within reason. Family Pack Rooms typically accommodate 2–4 dogs comfortably. Bring up to 6 if they are a stable pack and you mention it at booking; we may suggest a connecting-room setup.
